Semalt.com Messing up your Analytics? Filter it out

Semalt.com is an annoying analytic service that loads up your analytic systems with referral traffic that is not real referral traffic and bloat your data. What it really is, is a crawler but doesn’t act like standard crawler systems, you should remove it from you analytics as it’s not giving you real information. These are not visitors coming to your site from semalt it’s just semalts crawler that is usually spammed on to your site. If you using Google Analytics you can remove this traffic with filters.

Source Formatting your Code – Dreamweaver CC

So at my new position at the main company I work for I’m now working with other front-end/back-end developers and designers on a regular basis. The  biggest lesson I’ve learned is about how much easier a project goes if you have clean easy to read source code. For those not in the html world it means making sure all of your tags line up and are indented properly and easy to follow.
