Website

We were approached by TEN who had an idea for what they wanted, but didnt know where to start and didnt want to spend a fortune to get their startup off the ground. This is where we flourish. Given the challenge we sat down with TEN to discuss what they needed and came up with a list of must haves:

  1. A payment gateway system where users could sign up and pay via Eletronic Money Transfer or Paypal
  2. The need to restrict content on the site where only registered users could see it
  3. A directory where users could post their Act of Venue after registration was complete
  4. A calendar that was self maintained and users were able to view and post to after registering
  5. The site had to be responsive, easy to read and easy to maintain

The need to keep cost and time developing to a minimum meant we had to dig deep into our collective WordPress knowledge base and come up with some ways to implement the asks without too much invested in development. After some intense brainstorming sessions, our head developer George found a way to implement a mix of pre-existing plug-ins that would integrate with the CMS while at the same time align with what TEN needed to succeed.

With the event calendar and directory functioning seamlessly, we went ahead and built out the site layout and structre with TENs approval every step of the way ensuring that no time was wasted and that they were involved with the decision making process. We find that this blend of client involvevment AWESOME as they are super happy with the outcome and we get to create another beautiful website for the web 😀

With the projects closing we also held a walkthrough session with the TEN staff to make sure they were familiar every aspect of administering their site moving forward. We recorded this session as well for future reference. As well we coupled custom built training materials that shows the back end systems in-and-outs for even more ease of use.

All this may seem above and beyond to others but here at TheDSS it is ESSENTIAL we leave our clients feeling confident and happy with their new site and product. We realize its intimidating putting yourself and dream out for all to see so we do our best to ease their minds and let them feeling excited about the future of their site.
